Numerical simulations of soliton mode-locking dynamics and experimental results with Yb-doped gain crystals

We have studied soliton mode-locking dynamics by solving Haus master equation in Yb-doped laser crystals. Adjusting several parameters, experimentally generated mode-locked pulse parameters, which are pulse duration, spectral bandwidth and output power, can be obtained.
