efficient second harmonic generation based on periodic poled lithium niobate racetrack resonator
The lithium niobate is called silicon in photonics due to its fascinating properties. for example, it shows strong second order nonlinearity, low optical loss over wide wavelength range, and possibility of periodic poling for quasi-phase-matching application. we fabricated periodic poled lithium niobate racetrack resonator with high quality factor, and demonstrated efficient second harmonic generation with 68.9%/W conversion efficiency.
